The question
I run one construction company, not mine, and have started another construction company that offers the same services. I am trying to stay on with company #1 until they can either find a replacement or all of the contracts I have signed are satisfied. Clients have caught wind of my imminent departure and want me to bid work with my new company as they want me personally to do the work. The problem is that I will be counter bidding myself with 2 companies. I am not sure if it is illegal but it seems that it may be.
