I was the only employee fired for theft when there were many of us, can I sue my employer?
I was recently fired for theft from my longtime employer; however, I was not the only one stealing. I was a server at a restaurant that offered a comp of $25 to our customers. Post pandemic we weren't getting tipped or making money and so me and several of my coworkers used the button to make up for what we weren't getting tipped. In the end, I was the only one fired while my company had the electronic journal and could see that I was not the only one. Is this wrongful termination by chance and can I sue my former employer?
